Strategizing Instagram Page for Chaos Makes the Muse
My personal project detailing my process to strategize an effective Instagram strategy for Chaos Makes the Muse, a page to empower and celebrate women.
1. Page basics
Theme
The theme of this page is Women empowerment and development. I picked this theme to erase the false narrative/concepts attached with being a women or girl in today’s day and age. I will be posting content that empowers and encourages women to accept flaws and stand for what is right regardless of the pressure put on them.
Message
I named my page Chaos Makes the Muse (@chaos.makes.the.muse01) as the phrase means feeling of not being able to describe what you’re feeling? Where everything makes sense on one hand and yet absolutely nothing makes sense on the other. This phrase exactly explains how a women/girl feels. The phrase justifies every emotion a female goes through and somehow keeps you wondering what exactly does she feel.
Target audiences
Women/girls who are looking for some motivation and push would love my content. My target audience belongs to age group of 16–30 years old who are in college or maybe looking for a job or even have a successful business/job. I’m targeting Tier 1&2 cities specifically, but still this page is dedicated to empower all the women/girls irrespective of any boundaries.
2. Week 1 Strategy
Content strategy
- Post a Feed Post every single day.
- Post atleast 3 Reels this week.
- Follow 10 people in my niche.
- Turn on post notification of these 10 people so that every time they post I’m notified and thus, engage with their content.
Goals
This week I’m aiming to atleast gain 5 genuine followers.

Treating people as sh*t won’t take you anywhere in life.
And it’s just not for how you should treat other people, it’s also how you treat yourself.

Every transformation begins from you. Learn to remove yourself from places where your respect and integrity is threatened.

3. Week 2 Strategy
Content strategy
- Create auto-respondents for new followers welcoming them.
- Comment and engage on 5 posts similar to my niche an hour before posting.
- Comment and engage on 5 posts after posting.
- Write meaningful comments to get pinned.
Goals
Gain atleast 10 genuine followers and atleast 5 people who engage and comment on posts.

Today feminism as a concept has been used by many people for not what it truly stands for but what it does not vouch on.
So many false narratives are being attached to this term.
Feminism by dictionary has been defined as, “the advocacy of women’s rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.”
As a society we need to understand that this term is not to define women but it’s an idea, a concept that advocates for equal rights and opportunities for women and men.
Through this post I urge people to not confine women to the concept of feminism.

4. Week 3 Strategy
Content strategy
- Use Hashtags relevant to my niche.
- Avoid using broad and generic Hashtags.
- Research Hashtags that my TG follows and use those Hashtags in my post.
- Nature people that engage with my content.
Goals
This week my aim is have more engagement in my post. And to gain atleast 20 more followers.
Content example
This is story prompt to encourage my followers to engage with my content.
This is story prompt that will encourage followers to engage with my content. Followers answers on my DM’s will be re-shared.
I will post more story prompts in a staggered form so that my followers engage with my content.
5. Week 4 Strategy
Content strategy
- 3 Post every single day. (2 feed post and 1 Reel/ 1 Reel, 1 meme content & 1 feed post)
- Comment on large accounts daily.
- DM everyone who follow me.
- Post engaging stories. (yes/no questions, Ask me a question)
- Message people in my niche to build my network.
Goals
This week my goal is to gain atleast 30 new followers and 3–5 people engaging with my content. Also to atleast network with one person in my niche.
Content example
Copy: Do what makes you happy. Make choice that your future self will be proud of.
If you are not happy with a certain path in life, change it. You are not a tree (duh!). You don’t have stay when you know that it’s not worth it.
Regret is a dark place no one wants to be at. So consciously make decisions that you know will make you proud.

Copy: I’d be lying if I say that I’m never insecure about my looks or body or personality.
I have always tried to put on a personality that I’m not. I’ve tried to talk in a way that doesn’t remotely sound like me. I’ve agreed on topics that are exactly the opposite to my opinions.
I have done it all. I have done it to fit in.
To show people that I’m normal. Because you know anything said or done against the conservative standards of the society and people think you are a Rebel. That you are to an Extremist. That you are Not Normal.

Results and Learnings so far:

These are some of the results I was able to achieve so far organically within 2 weeks.
Key Take-aways:
- Post what your audience wants to see not what you feel like posting.
- Engage on bigger accounts to get noticed by their audience.
- Slide into DM’s to build a relationship with new followers and people who engage with your content.
- Use proper hashtags that is not just relevant to your TG but is relevant to your content.
- Comment something of value on other people’s post so that your comment gets pinned.
- It will take a while for results to show when your strategy is around organic reach, but keep posting. Consistency is the key, results will follow.
